Tillius Cimber (died 42 BC) was a Roman senator and one of the assassins of Julius Caesar in 44 BC.
Biography[]
Lucius Tillius Cimber was initially one of Julius Caesar's strongest supporters in the Roman Senate, and he was made governor of Bithynia and Pontus by Caesar in 44 BC; he also served as Praetor that year. Cimber was motivated to join the conspiracy against Caesar by ambition, and he set the stage for the attack by presenting Caesar with a petition to allow for his brother to return from exile. When Caesar stopped to address Cimber, Cimber pulled down Caesar's tunic, and Caesar was repeatedly stabbed. Cimber then left to raise a fleet in Bithynia to assist the Liberatores, and he provided naval support for the invasion of Macedonia. Cimber was killed at the Battle of Philippi in 42 BC.

With blond hair and blue eyes, Cimber is pleasing to the eye with an athletic build. His height, however, is unimposing and average.
Serving as a Military Tribune with his comrade Lucius Julius Caesar, Cimber is a veteran of the battles fought to suppr
