About John Hagee
As a young man, he was a National Honor Society member and a four-sport letterman who had a commission to West Point and aspired to a military career. However, as God’s plans are often different from ours, that changed when he gave his life to the Lord at the age of 17, was called to the ministry and became a fifth-generation pastor. John Charles Hagee (born April 12, 1940) is an American pastor and televangelist. He founded John Hagee Ministries, which telecasts to the United States and Canada. He is also the founder and chairman of the Christian Zionist organization Christians United for Israel, the largest Zionist organization in America.[1]
Hagee has attracted controversy over his comments on the Catholic Church, Jewish people and Islam, and promotion of the blood moon prophecy.
