Whether he is designing a custom residence, a home-away- from home boutique hotel, or a new line of furniture or textiles, interior designer Campion Platt [above] has one thing in mind: luxury. “Luxury is about both materiality and context,” he explains adding, “context might mean creating clear, open spaces within the confines of a Manhattan residence, or selecting opulent finishes – such as leather, resin, or marble – to accentuate spatial forms.” Incorporating fine craftsmanship, contemporary styling, and eco-sensitive design has become a signature trademark for Campion Platt over the past twenty years.

Campion A. Platt (born c. 1958, Boston, Massachusetts) is an American architect, based in New York City.[1]
Background
Platt graduated from the University of Michigan and from the Columbia University School of Architecture in New York City.[1] He began his career at Arquitectonica.[1]Arquitectonica is a Miami, Florida-based Architecture Firm with offices in New York City and around the world.[2] Platt reportedly moonlighted as a male model early in his career.[1] He subsequently established his own architecture and design firm, Campion A. Platt, P.C..[1] He was included in Architectural Digest as one of the Top 100 Architects and Designers in the world.[3] He completed the Time Warner showhouse at Columbus Circle and the Esquire Magazine Astor Place showhouse and the Esquire 360 showhouse in Los Angeles.[1]
