The Senior Presidential Advisor, Hon. Yaw Osafo-Maafo was the special guest during the conferment of the U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award on Most Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, the Apostolic General of Royalhouse Chapel International on Sunday, 6th February, 2022 at the Oil Dome in Accra.
In his remarks, Hon. Osafo-Maafo acknowledged the greater works of Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah for proving himself to be a rounded and dynamic Christian leader. He recounted the history of Royalhouse Chapel International as having started as Showers of Blessings Fellowship in 1992 and later changed to International Bible Worship Centre. Indeed, as a result of these process of evolution, the Apostle General has shepherded this church to become one of the most vibrant charismatic denominations in the country.

Yaw Osafo Maafo
Yaw Osafo-Maafo is the Senior Minister under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. An engineer and banker by profession, Osafo-Maafo has been very instrumental in re- engineering Ghana’s economy for growth, having worked as the Minister of Finance under ex-President John Agyekum Kuffuor. Born in 1942 in Akyem Awisa in the Eastern Region of Ghana, the young Osafo-Marfo had his early education at the Awisa Presbyterian School before moving to the prestigious Achimota Senior High School for his secondary education. He later enrolled at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) where he studied Mechanical Engineering. Between 1979 and 1992, he headed two major banks, the Bank for Housing and Construction, and the National Investment Bank and successfully helped in restructuring them. He has been a Consultant to the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the United Nations Development Program.
Osafo-Maafo also served as Chairman and a board member on several corporate entities, including Nestle Ghana Limited, National Trust Holding Company,
