About Me
Dr. Sabeel Ahmed is the Executive Director of the GainPeace Project, an outreach project of Islamic Circle of North America. As a Director of GainPeace, Dr. Sabeel's aim is to bring out the commonalities and build bridges between people of various faith, races, and nationalities and share the beautiful faith of Islam with our fellow Americans. Some of the projects of GainPeace include advertising the message of spirituality via Bus, Billboards, Trains, TV, Radio and Newspapers. Dr. Sabeel had given many outreach presentations and workshops in various cities in the USA on the topics of Shariah, Freedom of Speech, Comparative Religion and Youth Empowerment. After completing his medical education from the Carribean, he decided to dedicate his time as a full-time (daee) educator of Islam to tackle Islamophobia and to convey the peaceful message of Islam. He is married with three children and resides with his family in Morton Grove, IL, USA. Dr. Sabeel is being featured on many local and national media news outlets.

US doctor turns to Dawa
JEDDAH: Going along the lines of Islamic scholars Ahmed Deedat and Zakir Naik is their faithful follower Dr. Sabeel Ahmed who has given up his medical profession to devote entirely to Dawa work in the United States.
“I am greatly influenced by Deedat and Naik, my mentors, and have been conducting Dawa work in the United States with great success,” Ahmed told Arab News in an interview on Wednesday. He is the director of GainPeace an outreach project of Islamic Circle of North America, which has chapters in major US and Canadian cities.
Currently here to perform Umrah, Ahmed, a radiologist, said the efforts of GainPeace had been paying dividends, as it was able to dispel misconceptions about Islam at various meetings and conferences. “Today, there are highway billboards and buses displaying Islamic messages in different parts of America under the GainPeace program, including Washington, New York and Chicago.”

Introduction to Islam, Myths and Facts with Dr. Sabeel Ahmed, November 11
Illinois State University’s Muslim Student Association will host an “Introduction to Islam, Myths and Facts with Dr. Sabeel Ahmed” from 6-8 p.m. November 11 in the Circus Room of the Bone Student Center.
Dr. Ahmed is the executive director of the GainPeace Project, an outreach project of Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). He is currently a board member of ICNA national and is leading their national task force to tackle Islamophobia. As a director of GainPeace, his aim is to bring out the commonalities and build bridges between people of various faith, races, and nationalities and share the beautiful faith of Islam with our fellow Americans.
