STORY
Amrit Manthan premiered in February 2012 and was aired till August 2013 on Life OK. Amrit Manthan is set in Punjab against the backdrop of Royalty, and talks about values and principles which are tested in today's time. The show is about values v/s money. Amrit Manthan (transl.The Changes of Amrit) is an Indian television soap opera that premiered on 26 February 2012 and ran until 2 August 2013 on Life OK.[1] It tells the story of two sisters who become each other's enemies.[2] This show was also broadcast as Bari Behna on Star Utsav.
The show took a 4-month leap in July 2012, a 2-month leap in December 2012, and a 7-year leap in February 2013.[3][4]
Plot
Amrit Manthan is the story of two sisters Amrit and Nimrit. Amrit is strong headed and egoistic in nature. On the other hand, Nimrit is kind hearted and always obeys Amrit. Amrit marriage got fixed with Agam. Later Nimrit and Tej came to know that Agam is trying to seek revenge from Amrit as she insults him 20 years ago and framed him being a thief in her birthday party. Adaa Khan (born 12 May 1989) is an Indian television actress and model .[1] She is known for portraying Akashi in Behenein, Amrit in Amrit Manthan and Shesha in Naagin. In 2020, she participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.
Early and personal life
Khan was born in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra on 12 May 1989.[1] Her mother Parvin Khan died from cancer in March 2013.[2][3] She has a brother named Imran Khan.[4]
Khan was in a long relationship with actor Ankit Gera during mid-2010s. They ultimately broke up due to infidelity on his part.[5][6]
Career
Khan started out her career as a model and[7] appeared in several advertisements.[8][9][10] Following her stint in modelling and advertisements, Khan decided to opt for a career as an actor in television.[1] In 2009, she debuted in Hindi television by playing the role of Vigya in the Sony Entertainment Television show Pala
