There is no doubt that literature, visual arts, along with melodies create ways of communication, build bridges of understanding among societies, tell a historical story, and convey certain characteristics that shape the culture of every country in the world. As such, Lebanon is one of the Arab countries that have been famous throughout the history, especially after the Second World War, for its folkloric music, legendary artists and traditional dance known as “Dabke”. These three basic elements which shaped Lebanon’s musical and cultural history go back to year 1950 due to inspired artists and difficult circumstances.
