1. Jeremy McKinnon
He’s made full length records for Neck Deep, The Ghost Inside, and The Devil Wears Prada.
Jeremy McKinnon grew up with two sisters and was born in Gainesville, Florida. McKinnon went on to do building work got employment at Boston Market and afterwards. McKinnon’s interest in music arrived as an outcome of hanging out with a buddy’s group. McKinnon was inspired to compose and play music that was heavy Seventh Star, by a neighborhood group. McKinnon frequently got into trouble and consequently he’d compose music. Before joining drummer Bobby Scruggs and guitarist Tom Denney to form A Day McKinnon’s first group was the ska group All for Nothing.
Day and McKinnon have formed their own record label in partnership with Epitaph, they signed group Veara up.

Biography
Signing with Indianola Records for their first album, And Their Name Was Treason, Scruggs was replaced by Shelnutt in 2006. Later that year the band recorded For Those Who Have Heart with Victory Records. They embarked on several tours of the UK and U.S. and played at several festivals, before recording and releasing Homesick. While promoting Homesick on tour, Denney was replaced by Skaff. Soon after releasing their next album, What Separates Me from You, the band went on a worldwide tour to promote it. 'It started in Ocala'
A Day To Remember's much-anticipated and long-sold out Ocala concert is billed as a homecoming.
The rock band that now tours the world and tinkers at the top of music charts is from Marion County. Members went to school here and worked many jobs here. They played basketball on local courts. In a music video for the song "City of Ocala," drummer Alex Shelnutt contends he was kicked out of St. John Lutheran School for "showing my butt."
Ocala is a substantial part of their story, and they adore the place. In fact, Saturday night's homecoming concert at Tuscawilla Park has a hyperlocal significance: The band's very first Ocala gig was in Tuscawilla Park, in the former armory gymnasium on the second floor of what is now the Discovery Center. It is a long stone's throw away from the stage they will take Saturday.
